Demo 2007 Conference features NINJA Mobile Celebrity Film Application

NINJA Mobile unveiled its newest application today at the renowned hi-tech Demo 2007 Conference. Celebrity Film Shorts delivers short films from a collection of over 100 movies, which users select, watch and add to their film bank. With features just like your DVD player at home. The application, developed using a cutting-edge Asynchronous Java and XML (AJAX) SDK from Bling Software, is the first downloadable mobile lifestyle product in the marketplace which deploys this pioneering technology.
Celebrity Films Shorts is a monthly subscription application offering streaming video featuring today's major motion picture stars. Users can access hundreds of short film titles which they can add to their "Film Bank." Viewers watch shorts, share favorites with friends using a " Free Pass " (which plays the selected film and invites the friend to subscribe) and read filmographies on the shorts and the celebrities who star in them. Films feature appearances by stars including Hillary Swank, Keira Knightley, James Gandolfini, Charlie Sheen, and Hugh Jackman. With run times ranging from 5 to 30 minutes, Celebrity Film Shorts cover genres from suspense to action and drama to comedy, while delivering rich film quality and providing subscribers with unprecedented mobile functionality. The application is currently available on the BREW platform, with both J2ME and WAP versions slated for launch through carriers and direct-to-consumer, this summer.
